The Leader in HD-Video™ Virtual Open House
FAQ

How long will it take?  Shooting will take approximately one hour from start to finish; this includes shooting the interior, special features, and the exterior front view.  Once we are finished with the property, we move on to neighborhood features, gated entrances, signage, community pool, tennis, etc.  All of these elements are combined in the post-production process to create the final film.

When will we see the finished product?  In most cases your HD-Video will be completed and ready for download within 2 business days.  It is our goal to provide the finished product as soon as possible for the world to see.  Remember, each film is custom built, there are no short cuts, and to us, each film is a work of art.

Are we insured?   Yes.  We hold a $1M Inland Marine Policy.  All of our crew and staff follow strict rules of safety and privacy.

How will we know it's you?  Our crew will always be dressed in khakis and OREV-branded Polo shirts.  You, your house, and family will always be treated in a respectful and professional manner. We also come with protective shoe slip-covers to keep the outside out!

Should we be home for the shoot?  At a minimum, the agent has to be present.  You will only have to "hide" during the walk-through segment.  It is better to have the house empty of people and pets to keep continuity from room to room and minimize the possibility of getting into a scene.

What if we have pets in the house?  Because of the seamless walk-through nature of the tour, we recommend placing pets in a room that will not be covered by the tour. The actual walk-through portion of the shoot normally only takes about 25 minutes when well prepared, so we are in and out in a flash!

What if we are a commercial location or resort?   In addition to the checklist, you need to obtain permission from all guests that may be seen in the video.   An easy way of getting permission for using someone's physical likeness is either to (a) have each person sign a model release, or (b) post a clearly-visible sign at the entrance stating that "by entering the area you acknowledge your right to be photographed or filmed".

What are the advantages of HD streaming?  Streaming gives viewers the ability to watch a video without taking the time to download it, as long as they have a high-speed internet connection.  Many viewers will skip the video if they feel it takes too much time.

How do I implement the streaming videos?  You will be provided with a link that you can place right on the mls listing.  We can also provide you with an embed code if you would like to post the video directly on your website.

Can we add images and documents at a later date?  Yes.  Our system allows the addition of these items without an interruption in viewing services.

How and when do I pay for these services:   Payment is due in full prior to your video shoot.  You can pay with a check or credit card.  Credit card payments are done through Paypal.  We will send you an invoice prior to your shoot and once payment is received then your site is scheduled.

*The not so fine print:  It is of the utmost importance for us to be on time to produce your tour.  We schedule enough time to arrive at the property before our scheduled appointment time, prepare the camera equipment, perform an initial walk-through with you, and film the entire property.  Unfortunately, if the house is not prepared when we arrive, it will most likely cause delays for our other important clients.  In this case, we just might have to reschedule for another time or day which will add an additional charge to you for our time.  You do have a few options if this situation were to come about:

  1. We shoot it like it is, and go on with the entire process with your written approval.
  2. If we do not have an immediate appointment scheduled after your shooting time slot; there will be a $30.00 charge per half-hour of wait time.
  3. If we have to leave for another appointment and reschedule yours, a $150.00 fee will be assessed to your final invoice.
